Making the most of new hardware and software tools we have produced two huge panoramic images for Lincoln Cathedral to support their appeal for the restoration work on the south-west turret.
The first, ‘View from St Hugh’, taken from the top of the south-west turret, is made up from eight images stitched together. Working in conjunction with Ruddocks
the finished image was printed onto 20 large rigid panels. It is currently on display at the foot of the Cathedral’s south-west tower - at 76ft long and 12 1/2ft high it is the largest print made to date from one of our images. Click for more info
The second image is a view of the Cathedral and surrounding countryside taken on a rare sunny evening in July 2012 from the top of the Bailgate water tower, with special permission from Anglian Water. Comprising seven images stitched together, it can be seen on the side of a new Denby Transport curtain-sided trailer, which will be seen by thousands of people as it travels across Europe.
