The Last Resort is a general picture library with images covering the everyday to the obscure over a wide range of subjects and styles.
The accompanying list gives an idea of the breadth of <<subject areas>> in the collection, a list which is by no means exhaustive. We don't have on-line search facilities as yet, but since we know the library well we can let you know very quickly whether or not we can help with an image: email, phone or fax through your requirements.
If we haven't got what you need in stock we provide, where feasible, a 'bespoke' service, using our linked photographic studio.
We have been supplying images through this route for many years, images which are hard to source from stock. It's a route worth thinking about for applications such as educational titles where a picture often needs to be very specific to illustrate accompanying text. We discuss precise requirements before going ahead with any photography, so that we send you images which meet the needs of the application.
Reproduction fees are charged in line with standard library practice, i.e. for images used, not for the original photography. So if a picture is dropped at the last minute you don't pay a usage fee.

We don't charge a search fee, but we normally levy a small service fee to cover the cost of postage and packing. Now that many images are being sent out by email the standard service fees are as follows. There may be exceptions to this, depending on the work required, for instance we wouldn't normally charge the full fee if we only send you one image on a CD.

Usage costs vary according to application. Being small means that we can operate a flexible fee structure. Discounts may be available for use of more than one image, or for multiple applications.
All applications and reproduction rates must be agreed with us before any images are used.
