Who we are and what we do
Our goal is to provide high-quality,
competitively priced photographic services on time and to budget
. As every photographic project is different, we price each one on an individual basis.
From our wide-ranging experience over many years, we can advise on the best and most cost-effective solution in terms of the budget available and the desired outcomes
.
We are equally at home working to a tight photographic brief or to an outline, where we use our initiative and experience to provide creative, stylistically appropriate images
.
Whichever route is chosen, it’s important to find out as much as possible from you beforehand about the nature of the product, services or event to be photographed, and how you want the images to work for you. It all helps us to ‘get under the skin’ of what is to be photographed.
Firstly we will discuss the scope of the project to work out what is involved – for instance how long the photography is likely to take, what post production time will be needed, what output is required (e.g. reference prints, DVD).
Sometimes the post production work is very straightforward – perhaps just a slight adjustment to the colour balance. At other times significant digital manipulation might be needed - for example, if the final image is to be a panorama, the individual images need to be ‘stitched’ together to make the whole. Or when working in a factory there may be items of machinery in the background that are not required for the finished image. It is often more cost-effective to take these out digitally, rather than spend time on the photo shoot itself.
Where there are multiple venues to be photographed, if it’s easier for you we will sort out the logistics – liaising with the sites and scheduling the visits as cost-effectively as possible.
